Even though this weekend marked the start of spring (and we have a serious case of Spring Fever!), we spent Sunday inside watching our favorite shows. It’s time to see who our winners and losers were this week on our Sunday Show Scorecard!
First Place:
Chris Matthews Show
Chris Matthews takes first place again this week with two Janes on his panel. Chris hosted the Washington Post’s Kathleen Parker and BBC’s Katty Kay along with Time’s Joe Klein and NBC’s Mark Whitaker. Chris, you’re a superstar in our book! Two women gets you two Janes and another first place finish!
Tied for Second Place:
This Week
This Week with George Stephanopoulos comes in second place this Sunday. George had Rep. Michael Pence, Sen. Kent Conrad, Vice President Biden’s Chief Economic Advisor Jared Bernstein and Sen. Susan Collins on hand to discuss AIG’s shenanigans. One Jane gets George one Jane!
Fox News Sunday
Chris Wallace and Fox News Sunday join Geroge in second place this week. FNS hosted Jane Christina Romer, Chair of the White House Council of Economic Affairs. Joining Chris and Christina were Rep. Charlie Rangel, Sen. Richard Shelby and chief White House photographer Pete Souza. Not bad FNS…one Jane and second place for you!
Face the Nation
Our Sunday boyfriend pulled through this week with a tie for second place finish! Bob Scheiffer’s stand-in, Harry Smith, hosted the New York Times’ Jackie Calmes, Slate’s John Dickerson, Sen. Charles Grassley, Rep. Barney Frank and the White House Council of Economic Advisors’ Austan Goolsbee. We’ admit we’re jealous that Jackie got to spend the morning at Bob’s place, but we’re giving you one Jane this week anyway.
Last Place:
Meet the Press
Meet the Press let us down this week. NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg, Gov. Ed Rendell and Govenator Arnold Schwarzenegger were on hand to discuss AIG. No women gets you no Janes. What’s up with that, MTP?

Where are you, CJP?? You seem to have “gone dark.” I miss you, and am a little worried!
