    Desiree Rogers, so in “Vogue”

    Janes, we interrupt today’s focus on stimulus, TARPs and recessions for a confession:  We’ve become a little tiny bit obsessed with Desiree Rogers, the new White House Social Secretary, and the subject of a William Norwich profile in this month’s “Vogue.”

    In there, we learn:

    • She’s a Harvard MBA and former CEO;
    • She’s gorgeous (how many women can pull off that hair cut?);
    • She’s a mom- her daughter is in her first year at Yale;
    • She wants to “translate the splendor, that sweetness, that comfort of the White House to everyone.”

    Just yesterday, CNN’s Lola Ogunnaike walked where CJP only dreams to tread, into the White House for an interview with Mrs. R:
