Ann Romney, the wife of Mitt Romney, announced at the end of last week that she had undergone a lumpectomy after her annual mammogram revealed pre-cancerous cells. Â Her spokesperson told the “Boston Globe” that Mrs. Romney is “feeling fine” after her procedure and is grateful to have detected the abnormalities so early. Â A doctor told the Globe she may also require radiation, depending on further tests, but it’s likely too early to tell.
Romney has been living with Multiple Sclerosis since 1998 and all of us at CJP wish her a speedy recovery.
