- After an emergency huddle on Capitol Hill, Congressional leaders and the Treasury Sec. have crafted a massive intervention to revive U.S. markets, "including a plan to sweep away the unpaid loans that are choking banks and blocking the flow of money to borrowers." We're not sure what that means, but it sounds expensive, and you KNOW we're all getting stuck with the bill. [Washington Post]
