As a registered Independent, I find the media’s vile treatment of Sarah Palin absolutely appalling. Republican women are right to protest. In fact, ALL women should protest the suggestion that Governor Palin can’t possibly balance her career and the responsibilites of motherhood. Above all, I am shocked and outraged that so much of these criticisms are coming from so-called FEMINISTS. The fact that an attractive, conservative woman from a small town may ultimately be the one to break that highest of glass ceilings is obviously a sore point with many liberal Democratic women. I understand that Governor Palin’s pro-life stance might be a source of disagreement, but if that is the case, please attack the policy and not the person. And especially not her family!
