Happy Friday afternoon, Janes! We hope you enjoyed this packed week of CJP summer school. Get your rest and we’ll be back with lots more next Monday! Here’s a recap of what we covered this week…

• We continued our series on the veepstakes, profiling potential vice presidential candidates Mitt Romney, Sam Nunn, Evan Bayh, Charlie Crist;
• We explored the controversy that started when the Washington Times referred to a Michelle Obama/Jennifer Granholm event as a “girlie show”, and then called up the Washington Times ourselves to get their take on the issue;
• We were reminded (again) what happens when you mess with Elizabeth Hasselbeck, The View’s most spirited co-host;
• And we started profiling women around the country running for office — starting with Maine Senator Susan Collins.
