Be Our “Eyes & Ears” for Super Tuesday, and beyond….

    By CJP | February 1, 2008

binoculars.jpg Janes, as we criss-crossed the country following the candidates from event to event, we learned two things:
    1. We wish we could be 50 places at once. No matter what polls, politicians and pundits say to fill the airwaves, there's no substitute for being on the ground somewhere and seeing it with your own eyes.
    2. The Janes live EVERYWHERE. As we've been adding to our mailing list, we're hearing from women from California to Georgia to Maine (hey Maine Jane!).
So we've decided to combine our plentiful supply of geographically diverse Janes with our voracious demand for little bits of info and insight on politics around the country. Has Mitt Romney's son come a-callin' to your front door asking you to vote? Are there Obama signs in the window of your hair salon?  When you volunteered to phone bank for HRC, were you delighted by the vision of all the cell-phone wielding ladies sitting on lawn chairs in an office park? (That's a real reader tip.) We've set up a new mailbox for your tips and observations at eyes&ears@citizenjanepolitics.com, and once we get a critical mass, we'll report them out with "Eyes & Ears" posts. We think of it as gathering little bits of string that we'll weave together to have a nest of Jane-generated political wisdom. The more you tell us, the better it will be! Again, that's eyes&ears@citizenjanepolitics.com So keep your peepers peeled, your ears to the ground, and your index fingers ready to hit "send." We're waiting for your accumulated genius, gals.....
