    By CJP | January 3, 2008

dr.jpg Good morning, Janes! Do you remember how you felt after you lost your first tooth, but before the Tooth Fairy came? The anticipation of knowing that once you put your old tooth under your pillow, a benevolent sprite would wisp into your room as you slept, take the tooth and leave a shiny quarter in its place? How great was that? About as great as the Iowa Caucuses, girls!

Yes, caucus day is here and the suspense is killing us. Who will win? Who will do better than expected? Will anybody scream like a maniac during their speech tonight? More importantly, the rest of the country, including you, will finally get the chance to cast votes and caucus for the candidates they trust and believe in.

So sit back and relax, ladies. We’ll pay attention to the caucuses today, and you do everything else, including being the smartest guest in the CJP Iowa Caucus VIP Suite. Here’s your Morning Jane…..

    • Speaking of blanketing the state with last-minute ads, Hillary Clinton bought air time for this two-minute commercial on all 6:00 Iowa television news casts. Content aside, is it demeaning to say she looks terrific? [HillaryClinton.com]
    • Check back at CJP Caucus HQ throughout the day for last-minute speeches from the candidates, including Barack Obama, Mitt Romney, Hillary Clinton, Rudy Giuliani and John Edwards. For candidates we haven’t seen in Iowa, we’ll link to those on other sites.
